. I finally gave it to my husband’s hinting and bought him an Apple Watch. I’ve had one for about five years now and love it. It was no surprise when he mentioned looking into one for himself. I opted for the SE (basic model) simply because I don’t need the additional capability of EKG, O2 readings, or deep diving water resistance. The basic model has alert capability for atypical cardiac rhythms. If more specific cardiac issues requiring an EKG are necessary, we can seek a physician’s services. We charge our watches at night, so O2 monitoring for sleep apnea is not necessary. Deep diving…yeah we don’t do that.I love the activity tracking and monthly challenges. And being able to ping my phone, receive texts, and answer calls from my watch are super helpful qualities. Not sure I can function without my watch.

. I would recommend buying this with other things in your cart because it just gets shoved in the box and I’m sure it was just me but the box showed up super damaged. So I was worried it wouldn’t work! But it did! My husband was supposed to get it as a Christmas gift but I caved and just gave it to him. He uses it all the time! He enjoys the sleep tracking and steps etc.

. I love this watch. I have had a Fitbit versa 2 for the last 2-3 years and it was just ok. It was a lot more difficult to set up and I had to constantly synch it with my iPhone. Because I have an iPhone and not an Android based phone I was pretty limited with the features on the watch, however with the Apple Watch SE, it was very simple to set up and synch with my phone. I receive calls, texts, updates and notifications and so much more.
