Si les sale el código 42 o 43 en la MB, actualicen la BIOS mediante el botón Flash Back con una USB, desafortunadamente no hay información respecto al fallo en la página oficial ni el manual de instalación seguramente es una corrupción en BIOS, después de actualizar funciona perfectamente.

Compre esta placa para prolongar la vida de mi PC, sin embargo me ha decepcionado mucho, aún con la versión de BIOS 805 sigue teniendo muchos problemas de estabilidad, de Red, problemas con TPM en Windows 10 y 11, inestabilidad cuando activas el DOCP, adicional que venía un pin de la parte tracera de la placa doblado. Realmente puedo ver que liberaron este producto sin estar listo aún. Mi recomendación es que No compres esta placa, aún tiene muchos problemas de BIOS y estabilidad, y la manofactura esta muy mal, me sorprende por que ASUS en esta categoría de gama alta siempre da cosas de calidad, pero esta vez, me ha decepcionado.

MOST IMPORTANT ITEM OF NOTE AT THIS TIME IS THAT ASUS HAS FINALLY RELEASED A NON-BETA UEFI/BIOS THAT ACTUALLY WORKS AND SEEMS TO BE STABLE…ALTHOUGH YOU MIGHT NEED TO USE SOME SPECIFIC SETTINGS.I want to rate this motherboard higher, but I can’t justify a higher rating based not only on my experience, but the experiences of many others. And let’s not forget the exorbitant price premium ASUS charges just for the name.There is only one 16x PCIe slot, and using either of the other two slots for anything (or even using one particular PCIe 5 M.2 slot) will drop the 16x slot to 8x. So you effectively only have a single, useable PCIe slot if you are using a discreet, 16x capable video card and want to take advantage of its full performance (not to mention the fact that one of the PCIe 5 M.2 slots is also basically useless in this case – but that’s not as bad unless you need *more* than two PCIe 5 M.2 drives in your system).ASUS released BIOS after BIOS that claimed to fix their CPU VSOC problem but didn’t. They repeatedly listed certain BIOS versions as compatible with certain CPUs and/or RAM, then would retroactively removesome CPUs and/or RAM from the compatibility test and refuse to honor the warranty based on the ‘fact’ that a particular CPU or RAM was ‘now’ not on the list, even thought it WAS on the list when the BIOS was released and downloaded by the end-user. These were not the only questionable acts ASUS engaged in before finally releasing a BIOS that actually seems to finally work correctly, but they were among the more egregious.If you get this board, make sure you grab the latest non-BETA BIOS from ASUS and have it ready before you start installing anything. Assemble enough of the machine to update the BIOS, and do the update. Once updated, reboot, go into the BIOS and load optimized defaults, then start tweaking. The two most important settings you *might* need to make are the following:1. In the AI Tweak section, ensure that Memory Context Restore is Enabled. This will typically also automatically enable something to do with powering down the RAM during certain instances – I left that enabled and have had no problems.2. In Advanced/AMD CBS/DDR Options/DDR Memory Features you’ll also want to enable Memory Context Restore.Enabling these two settings solved every CPU/RAM related problem I was having, even with the beta BIOS versions. I can’t take credit for this discovery – that goes to reddit user CaptainRamirez.Now that there’s a working non-BETA BIOS, this board isn’t bad, but you can get equivalent performance and features for less from other manufacturers. Don’t buy this because ‘ASUS is better’ – they’re not, they’re just more expensive. Buy this because you want an ASUS motherboard.

1. You have probably heard about the ASUS bios controversy, but thankfully they have walked back their controversial statements regarding the beta bios. You can (and should) now safely update the bios without concern for your warranty. That’s the important bit.2. The board worked well for me. I didn’t have any issues with the Intel network adapter like I have read elsewhere, and the feature set is exactly what I was looking for.3. CRASHING with 7950x: If you have the 7950x (and perhaps other 7000 series CPU’s) and are experiencing random blue screening on windows, like I was, try disabling C-State in the bios and set windows to performance mode in the advanced power settings. This completely resolved my issue after a couple days of struggling. I have not seen this reported elsewhere so I assume it is a rare bug, but perhaps my reporting it here will help someone.You can find C-State by entering the bios and searching for it with the Search feature. All C-State does is put your CPU in a low-power mode when the PC is at rest, but waking it up from rest (and sometimes while tinkering with power settings) can randomly trip it up and BSOD. At least for me and my specific hardware this was happening, your mileage may vary.TLDR: Asus walked back controversial warranty statements, now you can safely update your bios. Disabling C-State and turning on performance mode in the windows power settings could resolve rare BSOD.

Very buggy, the board itself is stating that there is a memory error, however the system information and BIOS, seem to say everything is ok. A lot of features on this board, but probably better off going for the MSI equivalent.

The amount of PCIe 5 lanes this board offers is the reason I bought it despite the fact I don’t have and currently don’t plan to get any PCIe 5 devices but I was looking at the next 4 to 6 years with this board and probably 2 processor upgrades during that time. First thing I did was update the bios as Asus did have an issue with 7800x3d that could kill the cpu. I didn’t both to look at what version was on it out of the box I just updated it first thing. Another reason I bought this board is I like to overclock but the 7000 series doesn’t use a lot power so on AMD this is probably over kill in power delivery. One of the things I wasn’t aware of when I upgraded to AM5 is it doesn’t currently support 4 sticks of DDR5 running at there expo settings. At can’t get my 4X16 expo 6000mt sticks to even run at stock 3600mt but that is likely the ram sticks not being matched well even though they are the exact same sticks. I had initially accidentally ordered sticks meant for intel systems. When I had issues running 4 sticks of G.Skill trident x 5 AMD expo sticks (two no problem) I decided to see what would happen if I used the T-Force Delta RGB kit which had the same CL30 latency of the G-skill. They work at there rated XMP speed of 6000mt CL 30 with zero problems. I’m pretty sure that was just luck but I’m very happy with the results. It’s probably not worth the hassle to run 4 sticks simply for duel rank instead of single rank. It is a little faster but not noticeable under normal use but if your pushing the system why not but again this is NOT supported by AMD AM5 at the time of this writing so it may not work without spending money on different sets of memory until you get 4 sticks that will run the overclock setting. I have no complaints about this board and would buy it again if I was building another system.

Asus is my top computer parts brand for good reason. 1 I’ve had an asus vivobook since 2018, the only laptop I’ve had that lasted more than a year and I fell in love with asus products.The motherboard itself is HEAVY like a steel plate its weight distribution is pretty balance. That was my favorite part about lifting up the box not knowing there were several other accoutrement tucked under the board,(THANK YOU ASUS I SHALL USE IT WELL). It’s always nice to have stickers to put on your case, showing off your top tier name brand products.While unfortunately I do not have all the components to assemble this behemoth of a pc I will update once I do and add some nice pics

ASUS has serious issues with their motherboard quality.For years I avoided ASUS motherboards, but for AM5 I decided I would give them another shot for several reasons, not the least of which was wanting to be able to use Corsair iCUE to control all the (A)RGB in my PC, which became the deciding factor. I wish I had not let that desire of convenience sway my decision making.History:I have had a love hate relationship with ASUS for decades, going all the way back to the P5W DH Deluxe through to the last ASUS board I owned prior to this one, P8Z77 WS. I always start out loving their boards then end up hating them. In the case of these two, both boards failed prematurely after just a few years of use. In the case of the latter, its replacement was an ASRock Z77 4 Extreme which is still in use and working perfectly today, and it was a fraction of the cost. After the P8Z77 WS failed I decided that I would avoid ASUS entirely, and I mean entirely. This stayed true up until 2.5 years ago when I bought an ASUS TUF Gaming Laptop. Just after the warranty ran out it started to blue screen occasionally, this issue advanced progressively, and eventually I was able to figure out it was the NVMe ports. Removing those drives and running purely using a SATA SSD I achieved better stability. This didn’t last though, and just this past week, the USB ports failed followed shortly thereafter by the SATA port. It’s now a paper weight.Current Issues:This leads me to this ASUS X670E-E Gaming Wi-Fi Motherboard. I originally picked this board for a few reasons beyond the Corsair iCUE compatibility, it’s feature rich, had 4 NVMe slots, and a lot of USB connectivity, all of which I needed. After just 5 months of ownership, I started getting random blue screens.Troubleshooting:My first thought was it was the extra 32GB of RAM I had added, but MemTest could run for days without producing a single error, & CPU load tests proved to be perfectly stable as well. Nonetheless I decided to reset the BIOS to its basic configuration disabling PBO etc… For good measure I also updated to the latest BIOS. Unfortunately, the BSOD issues persisted and began to increase in frequency.At this point I began the process of elimination; I started removing parts. I went down to a single stick of RAM, no joy. Then removed all my drives except the primary 2TB NVMe for the OS. It was at this point that I had some success, and I went a week without a single BSOD. I then started adding them back in starting with the SATA drives, and this was also successful. It was when I started filling in the NVMe ports that the BSOD returned, and through the process of elimination I was able to figure out that Port 3 is the problem and is failing. No matter what, if I have an NVMe installed in that port (I tried several different ones btw…) not only will the system blue screen, but it’ll also refuse to post at times.Bottom Line:So where does that leave me? After my experience with my TUF Gaming laptop, I’m honestly expecting it to slowly die, and given the situation, why wouldn’t I? It’s starting out the same way… NVMe slots failing. Hopefully, their GPUs don’t suffer the same fate, because so far, they’ve been good to me. I’ve owned many of them over the years, and currently have a TUF Gaming RTX 3070 TI, RTX 3080 TI, RTX 3090 TI, and an RTX 4090 in my main rig. All have been great to date, but they’re still relatively new so who knows if that situation will change or not.So, I fully understand why Jayz2cents dropped them as a sponsor, and frankly good on him for doing it. At this point I’m just deciding which MSI board I’m going to buy to replace it with. This will be the last ASUS motherboard I buy, I’m done with them. I do sincerely hope they can learn a thing or two from their GPU division and not vice versa, because the more solid options we have out there, the better.My advice, steer clear from ASUS for now, there’s better & more reliable options out there.
