I bought these headphones for 16$ 2 years ago. I have been using them 2-3 times per week at work.For this price range, the sound quality is great, they are comfortable and they hold firmly in place on my head.Very satisfied with this purchase. Probably one of the best affordable headphones out there.

Likes: low price, choice of colors, lightweight, clean clear sound, nice indents on the headband so you know what side is which without looking, a nice click when adjusting size, easy to pack in a bag.Dislikes: lacking somewhat in bass even with a headphone amp, can become uncomfortable after a few hours of use, no right angle 3.5mm jack(nice to have if you use a tablet, and a bluetooth keyboard with a tablet slot), no inline mic, not the most robust build.These are a decent option if you need a low cost, lightweight set of on ear no frills headphones for medium to small ear sizes(not for kids as they are not volume limited), but do know they have no inline mic.Also the build quality, comfort, and overall sound quality(a bit lacking in bass due to the smaller drivers) is not as good as compared to a pair of SONY MDR-ZX110( i own them with, and without mics), which are about at the same price point, and are only a bit more for the version with an inline mic.Lastly when it comes to JVC wired headphones, and earbuds, I’d say go for the Gumy Plus earbuds over these with an inline mic(I own several pairs with, and without the mic), and mod them with memory foam aka comply foam eartips for a tighter seal to block out more nose, and better sound quality while being more comfortable than the stock silicone tips.

I bought these because I just like having a lot of inexpensive headphones around in different locations so that there’s always a pair handy. I always did like the JVC headphones I’ve owned in the past and was always satisfied with them but I never tried these ones before. Sure enough they sound really good for $13. I knew they probably wouldn’t last too long because I usually tend to break headphones either by stepping on them or sitting on them or crushing them somehow, so I wasn’t surprised that they broke when my vacuum cleaner sucked up the cord while I was vacuuming and snapped off the right earphone. I thought before I just order another pair let me try some super glue to see if that fixes the problem. And it did, so I was rather pleased about that. But either way these are still a good deal.

I was disappointed with these headphones.They aren’t very adjustable at all, they are not ‘snug’ enough to keep them on and the sound was so-so.I kept them only to have a pair on hand ‘just in case’. Personally my go-to-headphones for years and years is Koss Porta-Pro. I’m sticking with those and will have the JVC for backup.

I value JVC Headphones and Stereo Equipment. They are the best in Sound. Some sound system are too good, and they make it impossible to really hear the music. Some sound systems are too poor, and they make it impossible to really hear the music. JVC sound system has the right blend of quality of music, to enable to really hear the music. I highly recommend JVC sound systems for listening to music, recording, and protecting your hearing. I am grateful for JVC sound system, and I hope they go on forever.Sincerely,John

These are my third pair (my daughter grabbed one) and I use them with my laptop and the Xbox when I am playing an my kids are studying. They are bare-bones affairs but the ability to turn the ear pads means they are not bulky when I put them in a laptop bag or side table drawer. I have one pair that’s five years old now. Not bad for something so cheap.

for the low cost of these JVCs the sound and bass is very good. They also fold flat for easy storage. These are great headsets to bring on an airplane for the traveler (all airplanes use 3.55mm jack) You will enjoy the sound !
