I wanted a headset that I could use for online business calls. In addition, I wanted an over-the-ear headset to help eliminate background noise. Because I sit at my computer, I don’t need a headset with fancy features like Bluetooth or separate volume control. What I need is an affordable, wired headset with a boom mic. This headset meets the criteria and is priced in line with similar headsets. If I could wind back the clock, I would have specifically looked at headsets with reviews discussing fit and comfort. I wear a 7-1/4 hat, which makes my head about average size. If I wear these over-ear headphones for a long time, they begin to feel slightly uncomfortable. The earpieces are reasonably cushioned, but the spring load that clamps these to my head has more pressure than needed, and there’s no way to adjust that.Another feature I might consider if I shop again would be foldability. When I travel, these will need to be carried in my backpack. I didn’t think about it at the time, but now I realize that the plastic headframe may get broken as my luggage gets bashed around. So perhaps I should have thought about getting a foldable headset with a carrying case. The Amazon landing page correctly categorizes this as an over-ear headset. The box and manual say they are on-ear, which is incorrect.Update – in less than two weeks, a small cover plate has dislodged from the headset frame (see pic). It’s a little cosmetic plastic piece that covers the screws holding the earpiece to the overhead frame. It’s not going to affect the performance of the headset, but might be an indication of the construction quality.

The over the ear cushions were very comfortable, which was my main reason for trying this headset. 8 hours of IT tech support in less than comfortable headsets were driving me nuts. These are very thick and the hollow fits my ear comfortably. I could even wear them with earrings in without issue. The microphone being detachable is a nice touch. However, the sound quality is not consistent across apps. In Teams it was clear and crisp. In our call center phone app it sounded like I was in a cave. I tried bending it to different angles and different distances from my mouth, but nothing fixed it. It was ok because I could be heard. I just sounded. . .not right.I had previously used a set that was over $100. For this price point this is a good headset. Just test it with the apps you use to see how you might have to adjust when using it.

The sound quality was really good with these. They are a little noise canceling, which is nice. Very comfortable. I really like the idea of the mic, but I could not get my computer to recognize the mic as an input device. I am not super tech savvy, so I am not sure why. I will keep playing with it, and update if I can get it to work on other devices. But for just the head phone, it is really nice.

I’ve had these for a couple of weeks and have some thoughts. The sound has a tendency to be a little echo-y at times, but for the most part is pretty good. You can tell they’re value engineered headphones, which is okay, but you definitely don’t want to be too rough with them. The earphones themselves aren’t great if you have bigger ears (or if you wear earrings) because they get really uncomfortable after about an hour or so. If you’re a gamer and tend to spend long stretches of time with your headset on, I’d pass on these. But if you’re looking for something to use for zoom meetings or something like that, shorter periods of time, these are a pretty good value.

I always have a hard time with earbuds, because my ears are very sensitive. I ordered these as an alternative and they work just fine. There’s definitely no noise canceling or high end, audio or anything, but perfectly adequate for my uses. (I mostly listen to audiobooks).

I used this headset for work calls for a few weeks. The positives? The headphones fit snugly, and the audio worked well for video calls. I liked the design of the cord with the optional microphone jack. I took away two stars because I had issues getting the audio to work well, and my colleagues reported that they had issues hearing me when using the headset. I think without that issue, it would have been a very good headset for my work from home setup.

I love these because they don’t hurt my ears like most headphones do. The padding is soft. The sound is great I can almost not hear my kids shows.

This Konnek Stein Wired Headset Office with Microphone, Headphone Over-Ear Adjustable Headband Comfortable Ear Cushion Work on Computer PC Mac Laptop is very reasonably priced. My kids aren’t the most careful, so I have to regularly buy headphones. This set worked fine for their needs. They use it to watch their little videos on the computer and for playing games. They find these headphones to be comfortable, and because of the low price, I’m not too worried about how they treat them.
