Overall:Works perfectly and looks very good. mine has a small scratch at the back which is not visible thanks to the magnesium build.I wish it came with a pen just like the original surface pro 3, but that is not a big issue for me. If you want the pen consider the pen price before you make a decision.Performance:The tablet works fine for note taking and office documents. Anything heavier (web development or video editing) will speed up the fans and warm up the device and drain the battery really fast.Screen:No dead pixels so far and the touch is responsive and well calibrated.Battery:The battery seems to be working properly. After five full charge cycles, the full charge capacity of the battery is 40516 mWH which is 4% lower than the designed capacity of 42157 mWH, which is not a deal breaker for me.Conclusions:If it was a new device or it had a higher price tag I would have rated it 4 stars. For a refurbished device at this price, it deserves five stars.

I never thought I would be a PC person ever again, I have to say that I really love my Microsoft Surface Pro 3!I’m a bit disappointed it didn’t come with the Surface Pen, but that’s okay.I had no visible physical problems with my Surface Pro 3, it was almost like it was completely brand new. I just wish the battery life was a little better (only good for 5 hours instead of up to 9 hours), another than that. No real complaints about the quality of the refurbish!

Update: My 5Ghz band died on the wireless adapter for my Surface. Spoke with Amazon support, their standards for refurbishing are vague at best. See my chat log:Monique: Yes, I have seen that this is a common issue. Have you tried to contact the manufacturer to see if they have the resolution for this common problem?Me : The device is not under manufacture warranty, the support I have avalaible is via TechNet, it’s common network troubleshooting, does not resolve issue.Me : also changed my WAP’s channels across the entire 5gthz band still no resolution, other devices on my network function fine at 5ghzMe : When the 5Ghz band doesn’t show eSSIDs, The entire device needs to be shut off, then powered on, at that point it will populate the SSIDSMe : Sometimes, will connect.Me : After troubleshooting, it’s a hardware issue.Monique: I definitely do agree. Since this item was sold from a third party seller on our website, we do not have access to their inventory to send a replacement. We can refund you for the device and you may feel free to re-purchase from another seller on our website.Me : Ok. Also, from my review and others, I’m concerned about what QA standards go into refurbing these machines.Me : My device was extremely dirty out of the box, and others had issues with damage on their devices. How would I know if I will receive a device that’s actually been tested?Monique: All the devices that are certified refurbished by Amazon are tested.Me : What about battery capacity and use, is there a certain number of cycles limited or design capacity percentage to meet the standards?Monique: Yes, but I am not sure what the seller bases them off of.Me : what standard does Amazon have?Me : Batteries only last a certain number of cycles, years, when will it approved as “refurbished” 95% capacity? 80%, 70%? This tablet had 150 cycles on the battery, its capacity is still good, but what’s the standard since Amazon is not clear. Apple refurbished is really like new, the Macbook I’ve bought years ago had 2 cycles on the batteryMonique: Products sold under the Certified Refurbished on Amazon label have been tested and certified to look and work like new by a qualified manufacturer or a specialized third-party refurbisher who is either the seller of record, when that is not Amazon.com; or the vendor, when Amazon sells products that it sources from vendors.Me : “Work like new” should have a standard in place for battery capacity required. Otherwise, to put bluntly, these devices are just used, not refurbished.Me : Essentially that’s misrepresentation of the product stating it’s “like new” with a battery that has over 150 cyclesMe : I think Amazon needs to clarify what tests and standards go in the refurb process. I would like an exchange only if I feel confident in the device I will receive. Otherwise, This one still functions for the time beingMonique: The refurbishment process includes a full diagnostics test, replacement of any defective parts, a thorough cleaning and inspection process, and repackaging by the seller or vendor.Me : I understand diagnostics, but what % of a battery is deemed to be bad?Monique: It varies upon usage and we do not have access to the diagnostic specifications of the refurbish process.PROS: 256GB 8GB Ram Surface Pro 3 for $430! Perfect function, perfect screen/glass, works with Pro 4 case Keyboard, All day battery life, includes a new/like new AC adapter.CONS: Used item, not refurbished. Very dirty and gross, 93%-98% battery capacity w/ 150+ cycles, minor physical wear scratches, nothing major, Outdated Win10 image installed. Questionable “refurbishment process”I’m disappointed by the “refurbished- like new” quality of the description listed for this device. From my experiences with “refurbished” items from Apple, Dell, and directly from other manufactures, they literally replace and refurb any wear part on the item making it function and look like new. Batteries are replaced, chassis are cleaned and if damaged, replaced with new parts. In the past, the three generations of Macbook laptops I’ve bought brand new had hardware issues; versus the discounted factory-refurb 2011 one that’s still kicking with absolutely no issues for years on end. That said, this Surface is not “refurbished”, it’s used. The amount of work put into refurbishing it is minimal. The screen was cleaned and the OS was reset so you can complete the reinstall of Windows 10 Pro. Note, the Anniversary update was not applied, after reinstall so an older image was used. As for the back, I can tell you the prior owner was pretty gross. The silver magnesium finish was covered with yellow smudges from the smoker’s hands, and on the kick-stand between back of the device along the machined crease was a nasty yellow piece of what looked like ear wax! Gross! At that point I was debating on just shipping it back to Amazon for another replacement or just a return. Since it was already on my desk, and I had latex gloves, isopropyl alcohol and a beer nearby, I’ve mustered up the willpower to clean this mess. Fortunately, the paper towels used removed nearly all of the nasty mess, with q-tips I was able to remove the rest of the gnarly biological mater from the kickstand. To finish off, I went ahead and used a blower to attempt to blow out any dust accumulated from the heatsink area of the device. All said and done, the device actually looks pretty good. Even though my device’s original owner was a nasty slob, at least he didn’t drop it or scratched it up too badly. There’s a few minor wear marks on the back, but nothing too concerning.I’ve proceeded to use my most current Windows 10 USB boot disk to perform a clean factory format and reinstall. Everything is good. Updated the firmware, drivers, and checked the battery. You can check the battery by going to command prompt in windows, type: “powercfg /batteryreport”Overall, the battery usage shows 150 charge/discharge cycles, between 93-98% design capacity after the week of use. I’m not sure if I want to keep this device or just reformat it and send it back.

Awesome laptop tablet. Very good even in 2017. I’m using it to do some gaming and video editing. The device because warmer but nothing alarming. Perfect size for traveling.

Oh. My. Goodness. The Surface Pro 3 is amazing.First, let’s get the negative out of the way. It did not come with a pen.Now the positive. Flawless product, no visible use, wear or scratches. About 6 hours battery life. Came pre-loaded with Windows 10. Simple upgrade to current version. Runs exceptionally quick, and I have yet to hear the fan turn on, so it keeps quite cool. All said and done. I am exceptionally happy and would highly recommend a Surface Pro 3 and the seller DealFisher.

I’ll start with this: I had read a lot of reviews of companies selling ‘refurbished’ Microsoft Surface devices, but just basically reboxing them without actually doing anything. In some cases, shipping dead devices. I had previously purchased a refurbished Surface 3, and had good lock with that. So, I would have bought from that company, but they didn’t have any more of those, so I had to do a lot more seller review checks on Amazon before I pulled the trigger on this purchase. So it bought this one from some company named “DealFisher” selling through Amazon as their warehouse / shipper.I wanted just another Surface 3 (Atom based) as a Windows based beside tablet. My wife wanted one, so I gave her my current one, figuring I didn’t really need it and would go back to using my old iPad. That is when I got hit with exactly why I went away from the dam* iPad: Websites that crash the browser. Everyone is using things the poor browser in iOS can’t cope with and it crashes them. So they have to reload the page over and over. And it is happening more and more frequently. This does not happen in Windows – thus back to a Surface 3.So the price on this was even cheaper than on a Surface 3. At $300, it was a steal. I didn’t even know they made a Core i3 version of the 3 Pro. This is it. The 4 gigs of memory you should really have, but only 64 gigs of storage space. For bedside browsing, this is more than enough. When I unboxed it, the battery was totally dead. I had to charge it for 15 minutes before it would start. But, start it did. And it immediately went into the ‘welcome/configuration’ screens of a fresh OS install. So it had been wiped and an OS reinstalled. But.. I think it was Windows 8. However I wasn’t given much time to figure that out, because once I stepped through the install screens, it immediately pulled down updates, decided it was ready to upgrade to Windows 10 and did so. I didn’t mind that because Win 10 is actually an okay tablet OS if you can live with the privacy invasion. (Hint, never use your real name or information if you have concerns. Or if you own an official license, then install Windows 8.1 ) **note: I did revert an older Surface Pro down to Windows 8.1 because it also works an a tablet OS and I feel a little more in control of it when I am going to put important things in there like my company work files and such. Thus began the 24 hours of updates. There were so many updates this thing had to apply. Very often when you finish installing updates, you should make it check again to see if there are updates to the updates. Yes, this really happens. In my case there were many updates. Quite a few required you to reboot so they could finish installing. Then you start again doing the next set of updates. That is life of a fresh install. But, that has nothing to do with the item in question. This Surface 3 Pro is a bit slower than the Core i5 version. If you can afford it, get one of those. If you want a simple adjunct / side computer to whatever you already own, then this works fine. Add on a Micro SD card like a 128 gig card, then you have enough secondary space to store things rather than the tight 64 gig drive. (The card slot for the Micro SD card, is behind the kickstand(llap on the back), out of the way and not along the edge.)This refurbished unit has a great screen with no scratches of chips. The magnesium body doesn’t show any scratches or scaring either. I guess I got lucky with this one.Everything on this seems to work, from USB port to charging port, touch screen to speakers. The screen is bright and shows no signs of ‘spots’ or discoloration. I really think that for every other hangup I have a about Microsoft software, their hardware offerings are always pretty high quality compared to their direct competitors. So I expected and found this to be of the quality I have seen on other new and used Surface devices. The interesting thing with this purchase; It came with a charger to recharge it, as you would expect. However, you would expect a used charger nicely cleaned, twist tied, and tossed in the box. What I actually received was a brand new Microsoft charger for the Surface 3 Pro. I know it is new because (besides the spotless look and the plastic baggy it is in) it came with the cables carefully wound in that pristine way they do at the factory, then each one wrapped with that single band of polyester tape that a knock-off factory would likely not expend the money on. So I felt good about that part of this. The only thing I could ding on this experience was the packaging. It wasn’t horrible, and no damage resulted from it, so it is a very minor touch point. The Surface was placed in a padded envelope of the kind they make from bubble wrap. It wasn’t sealed, but was just tight enough that the device didn’t slide out. That and the charger where then placed in a generic white box, much like a cut-to-fit pizza box of some sort. Good enough to stack on Amazon shelves. Amazon shipped it out in their typical ‘way too big’ box with just the very minimum of padding. In the end it survived. Why four stars? The device works. It shipped without damage. It had no signs of internal issues so far. It even appears to have shipped with a new power supply / charger. So far so good. I think the only thing I could complain about was packaging. It did’t impress me. I don’t know who does it. There was a included sticker / slip in the box detailing how vendors had to meet a certain level of quality to sell through Amazon. So maybe the vendor put that in the box, or maybe Amazon just packages the bits into a box. No idea. But it didn’t really make me feel like: ‘Wow, look at this packaging’. My last Surface 3 was also a refurbished unit. It came in a very nice box. Clearly branded as a Surface 3 and refurbished. And this wasn’t a sticker, but a full on printed-on-shiny cardboard paint job. Some good money spent on that experience. I am pretty sure it was identical to the original shipping box, as it have the tray it floated in, and a separate box for the power supply. It could easily be that Microsoft had someone doing the official refurb and boxing, and then having someone handle the sales. However, this one was not presented in any such nice fashion.Sometimes you get lucky buying used, and I can’t say I did not. It works just fine and I am using it right now to type this up right now, on battery power (which has lasted an expectedly nice amount of time, which on a device that you can not replace the battery in, is a significant issue).

It works just fine and I am using it right now to type this up right now, on battery power (which has lasted an expectedly nice amount of time, which on a device that you can not replace the battery in, is a significant issue).

. UPDATE: It turns out that the working memory (RAM) of this tablet is quite small, only 1GB. If you clear your caches frequently and/or turn it off often (daily), it clears the RAM and then it works better. It’s still on the slow side with only 30% of the storage full, and I’ll be upgrading when I can.On the enumerated items below:1. Less of a problem.2. Less of a problem when you learn where to touch.3. Still a big problem.4. See above.===============I purchased this tablet because it had a more current Android version. (Be careful! Some of the others had 4.4 when this one was 10.0!) Unfortunately…1. The screen is lacking responsiveness and drops the contact midway when swiping around (think of a word game where you have to swipe between letters).2. It’s very difficult to initiate a touch. If an ad has an X to close, it can take many attempts to actually engage the X instead of going to Google Play to download the app being advertised.3. The screen has a funny feel, and after using a brand-new stylus for 48 hours, there are light but permanent scratches in the screen. (!!!!!) (Fingers are better.)4. It’s slow and can’t handle some more complicated games, such as a parking lot puzzle game with figures guarding exits.Granted, the tablet’s cost was less than $100, but still… I needed a tablet right away and I guess it will work for basic things (I haven’t tried it yet with Zoom), but I’ll be replacing it as soon as I can afford a better one.

. The tablet is a nice big size with adequate brightness. The only drawback that I would mention is the sound quality. It’s sound is rather tinny and flat. I have a much older 8″ tablet with a far better sound quality. It wasn’t too easy to set up either, seemed like it needed 4 restarts and then a very long upload period to update the Google apps which are the only apps that I have put on the tablet so far. I feel that my older Kyocera tablet was much easier to set up and was more intuitive, with a better quality picture and sound. But for the price point it really can’t be beat.

I am not an Android guy. Although I am always fascinated by Android devices and products. I have owned quite a few Chinese knock-offs and a few Xiaomi brand phones but nothing ever lasted. In retrospect, I didn’t give them much of a chance. I am an Apple guy. I love Mac and Apple products. What I don’t like? The price. What I do like? The quality. Apple has maintained quality products for some time. I’ve had many iPhones, iPads, Mac Pros, Macbook Pros, Macbooks, Mac minis, and iMacs. Our whole office here in Ghana is on mac. Why? Reliability and longevity. Ok, so I’ve got the fanboying out the way, on to the subject of this post. Why did you buy this thing?Well, simply put, on one of my trips back to the US earlier this year, my 13″ Macbook Pro died and I needed a replacement. I loved the 13″ size for going back and forth to the office and it was a good “beater” laptop. I have a loaded 16″ Macbook Pro that I prefer to keep in pristine shape for editing video and graphics. I figured let’s try the 12.4″ tablet and see if it can handle what I am throwing at it.I LOVE THIS TABLET.I am typing on it right now for this post. I was skeptical of having an Android tablet after having a few knock-offs and bad experiences with them, but this thing just keeps getting better. The only downside? No iMessaging or integration of Mac apps. I can live without that. In fact, it has me wondering if I should switch all of my note-taking, list-making, and stuff to Google apps.SpeedThis thing is fast. I’m not just talking fast, I’m talking lighting fast. I am constantly shocked at how responsive and quick everything is. Websites load fast, apps load without hesitation, and streaming is a joy. With the Qualcomm SM7225 Octa-Core processor, this thing delivers. My kids use iPad devices for streaming and sometimes school. My son has one of the later models of the regular iPad. This Samsung tab smokes it. I mean trail of fire smokes it.ScreenThe screen on this device is one of the best I’ve ever seen or used. I’m serious. I like it better than the iPads I own. It’s clear, and crisp and the 4K video looks incredible on it. Let’s put it this way, I’d rather watch Netflix on this tablet than on my 16″ Macbook Pro. Even when viewing bad or old footage on YouTube, I’ve found the quality is amazing. I’m not sure what they’re doing over there at Samsung but they better keep doing it. If you don’t believe me, go find one on display at a store. You’ll be a believer quickly. Even with fingerprints of my own and my kids, this thing is still crisp and clear. For what it’s worth, I do not put on-screen protectors on my devices. I don’t like the loss of clarity and function with screen protectors.Battery LifeI have yet to have this thing die on me. Granted I don’t use it enough to kill the battery. Even after two days of not being on the charger, it was still at 60%. I couldn’t believe it. Time will tell how long that lasts but if it’s this good to start with I don’t feel worried about that at all. Maybe when I fly again back to the States I’ll test how long it lasts on a flight.AccessoriesWith this tablet, I bought the Amazon suggested keyboard and case made by Fintie. For all intents and purposes, it’s not a bad case. Do I wish I had bought the Samsung keyboard and case? Sure. But the cost was a bit high and I didn’t think it was a deal-breaker on the tablet. The Fintie case works well enough and offers a few options for pen storage. I do like that the tablet came with a tablet pen which is a good selling point, even if you don’t use it.ConclusionAll in all, this tablet is a winner. The screen alone is worth the price but as an added bonus the speed just feels unmatched. If I had to go back and choose again, I’d likely choose it again. If you’re an Apple person, like I am, this is a worthy device to add to your arsenal.

I came in not having an andriod tablet since 2011. It has been a very long time. I haven’t had an andriod phone since around 2013. I went full ios after getting tired of the operating system and it’s inconsistencies. I have an iPad Air 3 and love it. It’s fast and ios over the years has allowed for more input even though it’s still pretty closed off as far outside install. I was looking towards using retroarch and older retro gaming along with a touch screen. I had been using my iPad but I hated having to sign in once a week on my laptop and I don’t need much power for the older stuff so I did alot of research before coming to a decision on the s7 fe. The other devices seemed too expensive for my needs and I also read alot from others that the S8 models using the gen 1 chipset has a limit on how much power can be output before it throttles so I didn’t see the point in spending more for receiving less. And boy, let me tell you, alot has definitely changed in the past 10 years. I had no idea that Andriod has now become iOS. I bought the 64gb thinking I could transfer apps to the micro SD card. You can’t. Many of it is locked into the internal drive. While you can have the apps access data off of the micro SD card the apps itself install on the internal. Only very little amount of apps can transfer but it was only 1 or 2 I was able to transfer. Had I known this I would’ve spent more on the 256gb. If you’re reading this and deciding PLEASE DO NOT get the 64. Save yourself the future worry and stick to the 256. I was planning on doing bare minimum as far as the Google Play Store went. But without installing a single thing and after fully updating my tablet I had 30% of storage gone. Just gone. After a week of “bare minimum”, Netflix, Crunchyroll, etc., I have 40% storage taken up. I’m currently considering returning and exchanging it but I’ve already spent alot on it to cover and care for the screen with protectors.NOW for performance I am highly, highly impressed. From experience the only reason I can see why everything is internal now is for stability. And so far I’ve only had one real issue. The tablet is very responsive. I saw videos from earlier this year how the device wasn’t fully capable of doing 4K YouTube but from my experience these past few days it’s been quick and snappy. 4K/60 on YouTube hasn’t had any issues playing. All my other apps as well run quick. I’m really enjoying the size of the screen. And the screen itself is bright enough and clear when displaying videos or playing a game. The tablet is larger than my iPad Air and I’m happy with it. I don’t like small devices. And depending on how big you are and your hands you’ll definitely love this size if you are bigger. It’s not heavy at all, I had no problems using it in one hand and using the other to write on it. I LOVE the drawing app on it. If you love to draw you’ll definitely love using this tablet. If you’ve seen videos online as well sometimes it doesn’t look impressive but when I used it suspringly felt nothing like what I saw on YouTube. It’s so good. I didn’t know that it also had sensitivity and was surprised when I pressed harder to see the digital ink change. While I have no idea how to actually draw and probably the worst at it I really did enjoy just scribbling away and using the paint feature on Samsung’s own app. I also like to practice kanji and it works as well as my iPad. I can see this being an iPad alternative for those who don’t want an iPad. Though to be honest at a certain price point once you reach S8 levels the iPad is by far the better option. There is no comparison. But for the sale price of this s7 fe under $400 you can’t beat it.As for gaming, retro gaming, I want an all in one device. I wanted to play my DS games I already own on a bigger screen and my other systems including psp in handheld and Dreamcast games without hooking up my DC and getting a converter. Everything has been great. Even some Sega Saturn. I’m having some issues getting Saturn running without quitting in RA but those that do run flawlessly. NDS runs great. PSX is running good as expected. And transferring my psp saves was as easy as hooking my psp via usb to the tablet via usb adapter and transferring saves to my micro SD card. Ppsspp read my saves and I was able to continuing my jrpgs on the tablet and to my TV via hdmi. Samsung Dex also ran great. There’s also other things that look very ios like (outputting sound has the same look now)and I’m glad that it’s actually as smooth as it now.In the end, for under $400 the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE is an excellent choice for a variety of uses. Whether you’re using it for school, drawing, writing letters and using the web – to streaming apps and Retro gaming it is by far the best device for every use. I am glad Android has come a long way to fixing many of the issues I had with it. I can not recommend this tablet enough. I don’t think you’ll find one better at this price point with so many features including the desktop-like Dex mode. I gave my review based on not seeing the uses I’d use it for so I hope it helps someone in their decision making.Highly recommended!!—FEBRUARY 2023 UPDATED—I still highly recommend this tablet. However I returned it for the S7+ model. Woot had a really nice sale for it for only $20-30 more than what I paid for the FE model. How can one pass up the offer? There is a nice noticeable improvement over the FE. YouTube 4K works consistently. As I stated in my review I did not see any harsh sluggish performance on the FE. For a good amount of videos it was fine but I did start to run into issues more and more where it would stutter. And it would with more photographic videos. I also think it may have to do with RAM as well as Android seems to hold more in the memory than my iPad does. Fortunately and To be completely honest on the FE it is nearly impossible to tell the difference between 1440p and 4K so I left it at 1440p as that looked really crisp. If you’re having issues with 4K the 1440p works perfectly fine and looks superb.Apps on the S7+ start up faster (but not by much and I did have an app that weirdly kept loading faster than the S7+ but may have been due to cache). I was impressed with the start up speed of the FE. The S7+ shines brightly with its OLED model, the videos I tested side by side clearly shows black blacks with the plus model and switching between 120 hertz vs 60 hertz is also very noticeable especially when I was transferring my files and just checking out the different apps and videos. It’s the same feeling you get when you see 60/30.Another major difference for me personally, as is with my retro retrospective is that Saturn games seemed to work so much better. I could not get Enemy Zero to run whatsoever and afterwards just crashed Retroarch. It ran fine on my iPad Air 3 and on the S7+ I am happy to report it runs good as well. However on a sad note upscaling DS games even by 2x stutters bad on the plus while on the FE it just came to a hault. On my iPad Air 3 I was able to upscale multiple times with zero issues. The reason why I include my iPad now is because the Air gen 3 cost the same as the S7+ msrp. Unfortunately it’s tedious to set up and a pain to keep refreshing every single week to get emulation working on top of only allowing 3 apps at a time to be installed. There’s no doubt that the iPad Air 3 is significantly more powerful than the S7+. With that sad it’s no slouch. It is wonderfully fast. I’m really loving it and because of the OLED and refresh rate of the S7+ screen I find myself going to it even for random “every day” tasks over the iPad.There is ONE COOL thing the android does that I am unable to do on the iPad and though it may seem trivial if it interests you if you enjoy watching YouTube or music while gaming (or retro gaming in this case) this ability is very neat. In DEX mode (by the way it can’t be overstated how awesome this is by Samsung) when connected the tv I like to play my DS games too/bottom. The “action” portion of the screen gets the left major side and size of the screen while the “map view” gets the bottom right and smaller size of the tv screen. This leaves the top right of blank square. What I do is I open YouTube with my playlist for gaming and resize the screen to fit the square! So while I’m on a long jrpg I can also watch whatever I’m in the mood for to fit what I’m doing. How cool right? And since retroarch has a built in volume gain (many old games especially handheld don’t have in-game volume controls) you can adjust the sound so they don’t overlap so much between YouTube and games.Speaking of COOL things, if you’re using a Dual Sense ps5 controller the touchpad also works as a mouse! Allowing you to do everything with just the ps5 controller. You’ll be able to double click on apps and well do anything a mouse can do. On a side note you’ll have to be in DEX mode to properly use it as I’ve noticed in tablet mode the dual sense mouse direction is sideways meaning if you scroll up it’ll go right. I think it’s turned 90 degrees in all directions. But in DEX mode it’s normal. (If you’re reading this and it’s still sideways control, turn off the tablet screen.. DEX doesn’t turn off only the tablet. That’ll fix it). I’m assuming the DualShock 4 with its touchpad will also work the same.Last but not least, I had no real interest in converting my ps2 and GameCube for Dolphin as I still use those plus my Wii connected via hdmi. HOWEVER there are a few games I don’t have that I’d love to play. They play okay. They have to be on native resolution otherwise any upscale has major slow downs. The FE couldn’t bother to run them properly even at native resolution. And if Apple ever allows these apps to run without going through hoops they all run excellent on the Air 3.I wrote a lot here and I really hope it helps someone because I mentioned I wished I could’ve had a it more insight especially well after release since YouTube videos seem to be all based off early testing. Many things change over time just like android 11 taking away the ability for apps to move to micro sd card and turning into an iOS. That is one nice thing is that my roms are on a now 512gb. My ipad has 256 so I’d be out of room. I’ve been super excited revisiting my old games. Even my GBA saves like ff6 (with sound restoration) save transferred to Retroarch once I was able to find out by trial and error that mGBA was the correct core to use. Btw, GBA on the S7+ OLED screen, just (insert chefs kiss gif/meme and all the above here) You’ll also want to use MelonDS. It doesn’t have the upscale Desemu has but you can’t anyway and I find it a little easier to use. Only Mario Kart DS seems to crash if I rewind in melon over Desu but I’m still sticking with it to keep everything in sync. It’s been nice having my library and saves in ONE place with a touch screen, finally.Thank you so very much for reading this far!!Happy gaming!

…due to decreasing battery life and wear and tear on the charging port..but in fairness I have used it every day for five years and it still works…the USB-C is an improvement over the micro-usb connection…the weight is about the same…the new unit has better ram and storage than the previous unit along with the screen display but for myself the change had been marginal (so far) with the caveat that I only use it to read e-books and stream movies and for that purpose it (IMO) is one of the best bang for the buck items on the market…my only two real complaints are the sound which is nasty/horrible on some movies…you really need headphones or some sort of bluetooth connection to other speakers…the other is that it was extremely difficult to connect to my Altice/Optimum Wifi…it took close to 40 tries before it made a connection…it was easier on my 2017 release…I’m not sure where to place the blame but it was a problem nonetheless…I would seriously suggest upgrading from the 9 to a 15 volt charger. Otherwise I am ok with this unit. Edit: what I do notice is the color is more vibrant than previous models…that’s a definite plus…also there is way too much bitchin’ about the screen lock…you only see it one time and you move past it…you save some money and a buck is a buck…I’ve actually had some useful information from the adverts. I would add You cannot rely on just the basic information from the manufacturer that its cord fits a Fire 10. It may or may not. ALL you have to look at is the charging port to see if it’s a USB-C or a micro-USB. For example, the previous Fire 10 I have is a 7th gen 2017 release that uses the micro-USB. Again, all you have to do is look at the charging port to see which one it is. My understanding is that the Fire can handle up to a 15W charger and the 9W one supplied by Amazon is too weak for my purposes. It may be they do this out an abundance of caution so that a power surge doesn’t damage the unit, but I come from a long line of village idiots so what do I know. I’m told the length of the cord may also affect how fast an item charges. I bought a 10ft one that works fine. My other observation after numerous Fires I have owned is the subject of reinforced/braided cords. My experience is that the braided cords because of their stiffness have a tendency to damage the charging port. And as many of you know that is usually the first to go. Yes, braided may last longer but I’d sooner replace a cord than a Fire. Considerably cheaper in the long run. All I know is that the 15w one works better than the OEM item. Just as an additional item there is this issue of breakage of the cord. I have bought a fair number of cords for my Fires over the years from various companies and have NEVER had a breakage issue. It is true that I have accidentally tripped over and otherwise inadvertently pulled cords from the Fire a number of times which could have resulted in breakage. I have been lucky it didn’t but have probably “worn out” the charging ports earlier than they should have because of my clumsiness. Considering I use and charge the Fire every day, regardless of the protestations, I am reasonably certain that most of the complaints from non-braided cords have resulted from that and not from defects in the cords themselves. All that is required is that you have to be careful when inserting and pulling the cord from the device as I have to keep reminding myself.

My daughter saved up her money for this tablet, and after 35 days it quit powering on. There’s been no damage to the tablet, and it’s in perfect physical appearance except it won’t work. Warranty is only 30 days, and company won’t respond to messages. What a terrible warranty and piece of junk. Save yourself the money and buy a quality name brand tablet, not this piece of junk.

. The screen is gorgeous. (i tried to photo it but i don’t have a good camera on my phone, trust me tho)This is a 1920×1200 native screen which makes it a good pixel density for the size, and the aspect ratio is a nice trade off between a sheet of paper/movie 16:9, and older content scales pretty wellfor instance, 240p content (such as many retro game) is a perfect 5x integer scale, which is not possible with 1920×1080 screens. If you like to game, it should be no problem to emulate things up to PSP, and you can probably get even more taxing systems to play ok. it has a Mediatek MT8183 4/4 big little 8 core and 2 G72 Mali cores, and an AI accelerator core. For those not familiar, Mediatek makes ARM processors mostly aimed at the Chinese market, and they offer considerable bang for the buck. Basically, Teclast has done a very good job localizing this hardware for the American market. The sound is ok, you get 2 speakers of ok quality, and the headphone/mic 3.5 mm jack is excellent. The build quality is nice, aluminum. it feels solid in your hands and the weight is nice. i have no problems watching an hour of anime or playing a half hour of some rpg with touch controls.as with most (all?) android devices input latency on the touch screen is very high and prone to jitter. You will want to use an external gamepad to play action games (i like a nintendo switch wired controller connected with a USB C hub) or you will want to use some type of MIDI or OSC input if you are making music in realtime on this thing (i haven’t tried a music making setup yet). This is really a problem with android OS, itself and how it handles touch input. Shame on Google for not addressing this issue after all these years!!!This brings up the only shortcoming i have with the tablet, it doesn’t support PD power delivery, really, so you are advised to use only a 5V 2A power adapter (which is included). This can be slow to charge the tablet fully, and sometimes, if you are gaming with a USB hub, you will not have enough power to maintain charge while gaming with a controller… So that’s a little bit of a bummer.Teclast advises that there may be some issues if charging with USB C PD power supply and a PD hub… I haven’t tried it yet, but I will update if i get around to it. So far, it hasn’t been much of an issue, just make sure the battery is charged up for heavy gaming sessions and maybe consider using a bluetooth gaming controller unless you are playing a game that requires low input latency/jitter. Otherwise, it should be fine, and the battery is fairly huge, so just keep it charged, and you are good. The only other possible shortcoming, is there doesn’t seem to be any support for Mobile data/sim card, but if you have an extra sim card you could use a usb modem or get a travel router (i like the ones by GL.inet, they are super solid)As for the WIFI support, it is excellent. I remember the struggle just a few years back trying to stay connected to wifi with similar tablets, and this thing has no trouble at all. even weak/poor signals stay connected. If you have Xfinitywifi (or a similar service), this is a great choice for a wifi tablet, and you will have no problems at all.Bluetooth support… well it’s bluetooth, so you can expect the usual jitter and scrambled packet nonsense while listening to music. if you have your device in hand and speaker in backpack, it works just fine tho, and it’s better than using a cable and risking damage to your analog ports. However, if you are in a stable location, and you have a decent cable and decent analog on your speakers, then the analog sounds great! it’s the way to go, in that case (imho). I do wish they had moved the analog jack over just a little from the edge of the table though… it’s kind of on the bevel and occasionally it can cause mistriggers when sensing if there is a microphone connected. Just use it when you are stable location, and it’s no problem. Finally, i’ll come to the memory. it is a perfect size for this type of device. I really appreciate that they have included 8 GB of RAM. that is a very comfortable amount for a modern Android installation and it also leaves plenty of RAM to run Linux/Userland on top of your android (this lets you run full desktop versions of software which is crippled on Android–web browsers, etc).I also like the 128GB internal memory. that is a very comfortable amount to fill with your favorite games/music/anime/reading materials. Evidently it is the new (better?) kind of of internal memory. (i forget what it’s called)… and also, it claims to support up to 1 TB of memory upgrade via TF (trans flash, heh), which is better known as “micro SD” in the west.all in all, this is a great tablet. i am very stoked about my purchase. great job teclast!let the RETECLASTNATION begin! 😀

. We are an Apple family however I needed two tablets as my 6 year old damaged the charge port on her iPad and the other for our business and I did not want to invest a lot of money in more iPads even though they are fantastic. The Teleclast tablet arrived in heavy duty and attractive packaging complete with wall charger, 36″ charging cable which is thick and seems durable, manual and warranty card. The corner to corner measurement is exactly 10″ as stated however the screen is about 3/4″ shorter from top to bottom compared to an iPad 8th Generation however this is due to the iPad having a 4:3 screen ratio whereas this has a 16:9 like a modern flatscreen television. I’ve seen reviews of this brand with claims the screen size is not as stated but this model is as described. This tablet is running Android 12 however 13 is the latest version and after checking the manufacturers website 12 is the latest version this tablet will update too at this time. Not that it even matters but I did check. The performance of this tablet is exceptional as the video on moving streaming is crisp, sharp and stutter free. The sound is very good and clear even when at the loudest setting. Our child has been gaming all day on the tablet and has had zero glitches, it is very smooth. I have not tested photos or video nor am I connected to cellular service so those are unknown right now. But considering all other features are flawless I expect good results. I took off one star for the weight but most Android tablets are heaver than iPads and this one has a steel case so really no complaints. I don’t how they build these and sell them at this price point. We are overwhelmingly satisfied.PS: the 3rd photo showing video looks blocky due to the camera, the streaming video is sharp and looks good. Also: if you have a child or other who is rough with tablets buy a tempered glass screen protector. Ours broke the screen within 45 days which never happened with an iPad in 18 months. The iPad costs 10 times more and it was our fault so not a complaint just information, buy a screen protector.

Previous tablet iPad Mini 2 handed down from me to my daughter since she was less than a year old. Storage capacity was 16gb and after all the OS updates and no videos photos or linked account that shared it the capacity dwindled. We barely could save offline content so our daughter could enjoy so we had to pick and choose. Of course the tablet being old the battery lasted maybe an hour at best. This Samsung Tablet geez is a supreme upgrade. Quality of the colors is amazing, touch screen was a little more fluid, more features like hiding apps (play store, settings, etc), and omg the battery life! I tested it myself where I left videos playing practically overnight (about 11pm to 8am) and the battery percentage was above 60%. Of course its for our toddler so not many apps are on there so it’s not eating battery in the background. We went from 16gb to 128gb or 256gb I forget so we have tons of offline content we can now download without having to be picky which to keep or delete. The screen size is a lot bigger, but big enough that if she is tracing letter or painting within a game she has a larger screen to work with. We were even able to find a similar case to the one she is used to and it made the transition a little easier (the one with a handle and the two feet that folds in and out in the back side). The tablet per specs vs price to me was reasonable when purchased. I recommend it, however, make sure to buy a screen protector and/or a case to protect your investment.

I love this tablet. I have been keeping a eye on this tablet for a while and I finally was able to get it (reason for this review). I love to read comics, manga & books online and being half blind I need a huge screen. The performance is great from reading to watching videos that has a crisp clear picture. I even tried a bit of gaming with Diablo Immortal (not a fan) just to see how it runs and it was also smooth. If you are looking for a tablet that performs and has a good size screen and is also at a reasonable price this is it. Not to forget the battery life is great if you use it for casual browsing and reading I have been able to go a full day (10 hours) from 100% to like 30% from having it on reading.

This was one of the best AND worse purchases I’ve ever made. I bought this tablet for reading sheet music, and the switch to digital sheet music has been LIFE CHANGING… But the tablet itself is mid quality. It charges kinda slow, doesn’t hold charge well, and has a Microsoft interface (therefore, is 100% not user-friendly). I and to rewrite some of the machine’s basic code in order to get it to connect with my home wifi, which took AGES. I’m never buying another Microsoft tablet or computer again.

I just received this tab yesterday. I bought it mainly because I wanted to use Udemy app on tablet for my study. However I found conflicting answers in Q&A section of this product. I just went ahead and thought of trying it myself. And guess what, bam! I was able to install Udemy app on this tablet, mission successful :)For those, who wants to install udemy app but not sure this tab support or not based on Q&As, now you know, you can :)Step 1: Install Google Play Store. Note: Default apps (Amazon store) does not have Udemy app, but Google Play store does. Follow instructions from youtube video “How to install Play Store on Amazon Fire Tablet” – credits to R4GE VipeRzZ. Use links from his video to install APKs.Step 2: Login to Google Play Store and Install Udemy app. That’s it. You are all set :)Just from my first use so far, looks like this tab is bit slow while switching between apps and takes time. Charging without adapter on laptop is slow too – it says “slowly charging”. I will revisit this review after using this tablet bit more.

Product was not as described. Its fully functional with power supply no keyboard (I expected based on past reviews) but I expected the case to be in better shape than what I expected

. So I’ve always thought of myself as one of those ” I’m not a tablet person” types. However, it’s simply not true. I just didn’t have the right device until now.Previous to this tablet I had a Kindle Fire HD 10 2020 and in the beginning I enjoyed the Fire OS however, that quickly faded and I grew tired of working around all of the things that I wanted to do with the tablet itself.Prior to that I had a couple inexpensive models that I can’t even remember the name brand of. So for me, my experience in tablets isn’t as extensive as in some other tech areas. That said, I did a lot of research and homework on different brands models and essentially I wanted a tablet I could use to do all of the things that my genius Google PIXEL 6 PRO could do. I just wanted a bigger screen for using certain developing options, content creation, etc.In the end I made a list of specs that I wanted and would not budge on and this tablet happened to meet all of my requirements. Not only did it meet them, it actually rivaled above many others, especially in the category of cost. This tablet is very budget friendly and don’t be put off by it’s lower price point because it has some serious pack behind its punch. With 8GB RAM, 128GB storage a high resolution screen and decent audio speakers as well – This tablet can literally be used for any purposes you would use a computer or smartphone for and it will keep up with the workload.I had no problem connecting to my mesh Wi-Fi in my home. The Bluetooth has shown itself to be strong and paired with lasting connection and minimal signal interruption.Beyond all of the obvious reasons to own this tablet in the tech spec list you can easily find in the description I have to say I am now a huge fan of this brand that I had previously never heard of. I’m now very grateful to say that I can no longer make that statement and the next time I’m looking for a tablet upgrade. I will be looking specifically for this brand who has an extensive line of products that are quality, affordable and how’s the tech you need to get you through any personal or work project?I will say one of the huge reasons I am such a fan of this brand and this tablet in particular is that I agree with other reviewers who have mentioned that when you first boot up the tablet once received, you will notice something very out of the ordinary for any type of computer on the market today. That unique component brought to the table is the fact that this tablet as well as the other products in their line come almost flawlessly free of bloatware. With my fire tablet and previous tablets or smartphones I’ve always hated the fact that they come pre-installed with all of these apps you will nine times out of 10 Never use and they are hardwired into the user interface so that you cannot delete them unless you root your system. When greeted with the home screen and double checking the storage, I quickly found that this comes pre-loaded with the basics that you need and will use and not much else.Highly respect that because they allow you to personalize your device however you see fit and they give you the choice of what you want to download or not.In closing if you’re looking for a high functioning device with great storage, high RAM and super fast processor all packaged in a user friendly UI while still meeting the requirements of being a budget. Tablet – look no further. This is definitely one of the best and is officially the best tablet I’ve ever owned. I highly recommend giving it a try because you will not have any complaints.

I highly recommend giving it a try because you will not have any complaints.

I love my kindle. I use it for everything. I use it whenever I am home or even out to watch all my shows and movies. I use it to read my books and love downloading so many books on there. I have the 64gb and I love the amount of stuff I am able to download and use. To me this is very lightwight and can carry in a nice size totebag as well as bookbag. I like the fact that you can adjust it to be a childs profile so that they aren’t able to get on certain apps that are not child friendly. You can put a password on it as well as parent password it on your account so they can’t go into your amazon account and 1 click buy things. I love the kindle. The only dislikes I have are the camera quality is very fuzzy and not the best when it isn’t the brightest. The other dislike I have is you are not able to mirror anything like previous kindles would allow you to. Other than that I enjoy my kindle. Love it actually. I will continue to promote the kindle to my family just because of all the features you can get from it.

Bought this one when my previous one died. Lots of feature included and taking up storage space i will never use and there is no way to delete them to get the memory cleared. Make sure to actually download any books or music so you can access them off line. Hence the need for more storage space in the device itself and not in the cloud. Works well but no instructions are included, including how to use all the stuff on the device. It would be nice to be able to decide what i want on it. that i would actually use. But for the price i, we all just have to take what we are given. But in spite of my complaints I will buy another Kindle when this one dies. I like to read. Oh well.

I Love my Fire 10 HD! It recharges faster than my 5yr old 10 model. The audio and video are beautifully bright ,sharp and clear. I was not raised with computers or tablets and never had any interest in having these devices until I got one as a gift. Now I can’t imagine living without one. I got rid of my tv and stream exclusively. In my opinion this tablet is of excellent quality and just as good as any high priced device. I highly recommend this product for yourselfor it makes a useful and unforgettable gift. In my experience you will get many years of pleasure from these very reasonably priced devices.

Great tablet I had in years. I got it to read comics in actual size and for media. Performs great, the colors on it are gorgeous. Being 12 inch is like you have a mini TV which I like. The pen that come with it is great as it allows you to not leave finger marks on the screen. I recommend it.

I have an Ipad and I also have a Samsung tablet. Both have many pros and cons. I took a chance on this Kindel reader because I’d read it was …well, better than the others for just reading. I pretty much felt like I was buying a toy but this thing is no toy. I’ve only had it a few days but every day I’m seeing more things that it can do. I’m very impressed and I’ve already told several friends to order one for themselves. 5*!

. First and foremost, the Surface Pro 3’s design is simply stunning. The combination of a premium magnesium alloy body and the sleek, modern aesthetics make it a true eye-catcher. The 12-inch high-resolution PixelSense display is a joy to look at, delivering vibrant colors and sharp details, whether I’m browsing the web, watching videos, or working on important documents.Under the hood, the Intel Core i5 processor paired with 256 GB of storage offers exceptional performance. It effortlessly handles multitasking, allowing me to seamlessly switch between resource-intensive applications without any noticeable lag. Whether I’m editing photos, working on complex spreadsheets, or running demanding software, the Surface Pro 3 keeps up with my demands with ease.

I’ve been using this for some really basic stuff, I have only added 3 apps to it and have some movies I put on the hard drive or you some youtube here and there and it can be really slow to do things at times. It can feel like I’m using some old device and not something brand new. It doesn’t make sense that something with these apparent specs would struggle just to use youtube but it does. Maybe I got a dud? I dunno but this feels like a you get what you pay for kind of thing, and I only paid 80 bucks for a 10 inch new tablet. On a plus side it looks pretty nice, no issues with the screen or the weight of it or the thickness, that’s all good, but then another downside is on top of loading things slow, the wifi is considerable worse, my phone just got 80mb on fast.com and this only got 23, sitting in the exact same spot.I’ll probably return this, maybe try another cheap brand before I go up a level.

. I got it to take it with me in my vacation. I thought even though it looked really a cheap quality product, it would give me some service back. But boy was I wrong! This product was really a very bad product. It started with showing a very pale color setting. I tried manually to change the settings but it refused to be changed. When I tried to save the settings of color..it seemed it took it but when I restarted the tab, the bad color came back..so after I tried a few timers still it was not working, I just got frustrated and accepted the fact that it would not change the color settings. The second thing was the worst. Within a day, it developed the LOW BATTERY syndrome. The moment I turned on the tablet, it showed the 100% sign, within a few minutes, it showed 80%, then 40%, and within a few minutes, the LOW Battery sign started blinking. I was so surprised the first time it happened. Then I charged the tab again and it took about two hours to rechage the unit. It happened again..the battery was literally draining right in front of my eyes. For the next few days, I had to go through the Low Battery syndrome..after about 25 times I finally threw the tablet in my hotel room garbage bin. I was so upset that I just left it there in the hotel room. This tablet is really not worth buying. period.

I purchased this tablet for my sibling back in March of 2023, and not even a year later they are experiencing troubleshooting issues. The tablet remains frozen and the reboot stage and continues to loop. I’m not sure if its an issue with the system due to an update or a defect with the product. If anyone is having this issue let me know. Other than this issue, the tablet was perfect for their every day activities ie. Pictures, games, videos etc.

Roaches were to big… Beardie didn’t like em.. worms he loved. Would buy again but different bugs. –
. The first purchase I had to return, would no longer charge. The replacement is constantly freezing and I don’t have any Social Media or additional apps. I don’t use it much, because it’s too slow and and when it freezes, you must click on another Tab in order for you to return to frozen tab, and this will sometimes un-freeze it. I have yet to watch any movies, just basic internet surfing and it can’t handle that. The battery life sucks, too. This is not a good Tablet…

. It’s-a nice tablet but keeps going out of apps on its own. I Will be playing games and it keeps going right back to main screen while I’m playing.

. I ordered this device being on a budget. I was expecting less than, something to just get me by. It superceded my expectations. It’s super fast with downloading apps. It helps me with an alarm that I can set. I can view TV and stream other live apps. I can even do work with my Microsoft 360 key added. I love it, I would buy again and will recommend this item to others. Great item if you are budgeting and looking for quality.. order your tab today. The delivery was in 2 days like advertised.

. I got this just for 1 app which was webtoon. The colors on this are great. The downside is the battery life. Even when not in use the battery just drops. Only downside honestly. The tablet comes with just the basics to make it run and you do everything else. Which is something that I loved. The blue is bright and stands out which is pretty neat!

. This is fantastic. I thought from the reviews on this that it was going to be one of those terrible crappy tablets and then when it arrived I was proven wrong. It is super nice to hold, it was super easy to set up, and overall it is amazing. Great job amazon!

. Got my son and daughter one of these for Christmas and they are really nice. The screen quality is amazing nice and clear. The only thing I would complain about is when they are video chatting with their grandma it has a buzzing noise

. Extremely slow and un responsive, set up took about an hour. Once finally at the home screen it didn’t operate any better. Touch input was lagged, apps didn’t operate as they were suppose to, at one point play store disappeared from the device (it somehow became disabled in settings). Its not running Android 12 it’s running Android go, a stripped down version of Android meant for low end smartphones which may be part of the problem. Even if you were just using this for watching video and occasionally looking at the internet it would be an incredibly frustrating slog. For the money you’d have a lot better luck just getting a fire tablet and installing play services on it

. I normally buy Apple, but wanted a cheap “throw around” tablet and decided to try Android/Teclast a while back. 3 tablets later I still keep buying these Teclast tablets – maybe I have a problem. I gift my old ones away and people love them. I have had the M40 Pro, T40S, and now the T60.If you want the larger screen, this is probably their best one yet. I was about to order this model and import it, as I have been looking for it in the states for a while, then it (finally) arrived on Amazon. It was a few dollars more on Amazon, but you have easy returns and 2 day shipping. Still worth the price after the promotional coupon.Construction – 9/10. Really clean design – nice edges, slim design, feels solid, and lightweight. Lock button is textured and red which is nice being so close to volume buttons. USB-C charge port is on the bottom now. Back just has a cheap sticker for the model information, but that can be removed easily.Audio – 8/10. Probably the best audio yet in a Teclast tablet, you can actually use this at low volumes – previous models even on low volumes were quite loud. If you do crank it up, it gets pretty loud with decent bass for speakers this small. Nice it has four speakers, two on both sides.Display – 8/10. It’s a really crisp large screen, but I dinged it a couple points because of a couple minor issues. 1) It’s not very bright, if you plan to use this outdoors much you might have issues – it’s fine inside. 2) Streaming (YouTube, etc.) the color tones just seem “off” to me, especially with skin tones. It’s hard to describe, I thought initially it was a contrast setting but can’t seem to completely fix it – people look almost washed out in videos. You don’t really see it otherwise, and the effect is more noticeable depending on the amount of light in the scene. It’s not a deal breaker, just odd, and I wonder if it’s a result of the super high-res screen. 3) I can’t seem to stream from my media server reliably anything over 1080P and ~20Mbps to the device. Which is fine (1080P on a 12″ screen is plenty!), but was confused at first as I couldn’t get videos to play until I forced it to downgrade the quality. Will test this more.Cameras – 6/10. It’s nothing spectacular, and not very good in low light. But more then enough for a video call or quick pics.OS – It’s Android 13, and if you like Android should be at home. Has a few nice features and benefits over 12. Also nice Teclast doesn’t install any bloat-ware, and it did get an OS update over Wifi after setup. Not being a huge fan of Android, I install a different launcher and highly customize it. I was happy to see Nova Launch worked great on 13.Storage – It’s HUGE! 8GB Memory (plus 8GB of slower expanded memory), and 256MB for your storage needs (still not sure why teclast calls it ROM memory). And if you need more storage, you can easily expand it with a micro SD card. It seems common in the Android/Tablet market to list the total memory as 16GB when it’s really 8GB fast main memory + 8GB slower expansion memory. Even though it’s only 8GB of fast memory I’ve had many things open at once with plenty of room to spare. You may need to enable the expansion memory in your settings.Performance – It’s FAST! This thing is snappy, faster then any tablet I have purchased from them. I don’t game much so can’t comment on that, but think it should be fine with most titles. But web browsing and jumping between apps is instant response and a good experience.Battery – So far this seems reasonable, but still hope it improves after a few charge cycles. The faster CPU and large screen does come at a cost for power usage, but the big battery helps mitigate that some. AccuBattery (doesn’t have much history yet) is saying 11 hours continuous, and 30 hours of time under normal “mixed” operating conditions.Cellular/SIM – Not tested, but it does support a SIM card and cellular data if you wanted to use that feature. What’s in the BOX?! – Not much really. I was hoping for at least the (normally free) bundled flip case, but no luck. They did include an already applied free screen protector, so that’s a win. Other then that, you get a USB-C cable and US power brick. Hopefully more accessories turn up on Amazon, as of right now if you want a case or better screen protector you’ll need to import them.Sorry for the long review, hope it’s helpful.

8GB Memory (plus 8GB of slower expanded memory), and 256GB for your storage needs (still not sure why teclast calls it ROM memory). Hopefully more accessories turn up on Amazon, as of right now if you want a case or better screen protector you’ll need to import them.Sorry for the long review, hope it’s helpful.

. I use this (Teclast T60) as a mobile gym of sorts, participating in online streaming fitness classes, and usually outdoors.Everything works like it’s supposed to, even when multitasking, with no buggy surprises. The launcher overlay dock and navigation bar are always present at the bottom of the screen. Since the screen size has so much room, it enhances the navigation experience. At the operating system, everything looks legit, with basically no bloatware. The device hardware (memory, CPU, GPU, etc.) matches what is advertised. This is unlike a tablet that I had purchased (and returned) from a different vendor a few weeks prior to this. That tablet’s Android version was “borrowed” from another Android device using different hardware, and was a glitchy mess that misadvertised core count, misadvertised the GPU, and who knows what other surprises. This was not the case at all with this Teclast tablet.I haven’t run any synthetic benchmarks, but more importantly, I was able to video stream a Zoom call the other day, while tethered to a 4G phone, in a windy outdoor park for an hour in low light. Not a single hang up or glitch during the call, with bluetooth connected to earbuds, and a keyboard, and occasionally using other apps at the same time. And that was a day or two after receiving the tablet, and on the original charge. The call consumed perhaps 10-15% of the battery. This convinced me the tablet was a keeper!Pros:- Battery life good- Screen brightness is good enough- The quad speakers sound better than I expected- Comes with screen protector installed- Bright red Lenovo-style main side key button is easy to spot in low light- Costs around half the price of similar sized/specced tablets of well-known brandsCons:- This 12″ tablet is a non-mainstream size, so less accessories to choose from at the moment- Was not aware that it comes with a screen protector installed (had to cancel the one I ordered)Unknown:- Game/3D graphics performance- SIM card functionality- Photo and video quality (good enough for me and gets the job done)

. I got the 128 model on the Amazon sale a few days ago. The only reason I bought it was for traveling because I did not want to drag around my 2022 IPad Air and possibly lose, or mess up, a 500.00 tablet. So……like the headline states……it’s OK for the price. Not the retail price, but the sale price. Last year I bought the Fire 11 for the same reason, travel, but ended up returning it after a few days due to a price drop and Amazon refusing to offer a price match discount. Along those lines………..I tried my best and spoke to numerous people over an 8 month period but Amazon refused to return or credit the 70 or so I received from trading in two cheaper Amazon tablets when I bought the 11. I have been informed, over and over again by Customer Service, you lose the trade-in on a return. Now, I cannot find this ANYWHERE in the trade-in policy. But there it is so be forewarned.I would say both the tablets are very similar, with a slight edge maybe to the Samsung with the 8GB vs 4GB on the Fire. Neither are as smooth as the Air, but that is where the price difference comes in. When I bought this I believe the Fire was 199 and the A9+ was 209. For an additional 4GB of memory 10 bucks is good for me. Plus, I had no more available trade-ins for the 20% discount. As for the tablet itself….. The sound is fine, picture is fine, and I really prefer Google Apps as they just seem to have more of what I want. I imagine build quality is similar. Now for the apps…….Prime video was loaded, along with Peacock, Disney, MGM, HBO/Max, Paramount……all my streaming services with one glaring, if not unexpected, exception. Apple+ TV. I found an ITunes app, but no TV app. Maybe the Fire has it, I don’t know.I also loaded Samsung SmartSwitch which allowed me to sync info from my IPhone. No issues, worked well although it did take a minute using wireless connectivity. The tablet did not come with a plug as has been noted many times. I guess, you know, is it a big deal if you have other electronics? No. But if this was your only one…….I mean, really? Is that plug really saving all that much money off the list price? Some of these things the corporations do nowadays just seem silly/greedy.As far as charging goes, this seemed to be another hot topic. So, using an Apple 20W Fast Charger, the tablet went from 13% to 100% in about 2 1/2 hours. If I went USB-C only I would guess more than double that time would be required. I did make sure Fast Charge was on in the tablet…..it shipped that way.The battery did seem to wear down rather quickly, but not fast enough to return the tablet. The phone transfer was about 30 minutes, and all I did other than that was load Apps and change some settings for a few hours. This took me from 50 to 13%. How that compares to my Air, no idea. But it is acceptable. One thing I do not like…..and maybe I just need to try a bit harder…..I cannot figure out how to get Auto Blocker turned on. It’s right there in Settings, but greyed out as is two other advanced settings below it. I just keep seeing a spiral up top right like something is trying to load. Only thing I can figure out is if you have free apps loaded you cannot block the pop-ups or whatever.Wi-Fi hooked up right away so I did not bother trying my phones Hot Spot. Other than that, I see no issues with this tablet. At the right price, of course!

. First thing is first, this is a budget tablet and that must be kept in mind when buying it. This is not a Sammy Tab S Ultra and wont perform like one. (I have that beast also) Keeping this in mind, this tablet is not meant for high performance things like some gaming. I personally bought this table for use as a media device to place in a mount in my garage over the work bench. For my use case I opted for the 4gb/64gb option, the heftier 8gb/128gb version might be a better performer with the doubling of your RAM.Build quality is awesome for a budge tablet. No plastic anywhere in the frame or back cover. Buttons and screen are responsive and look great. Screen brightness is good for indoors but lacks a bit in direct sunlight where it can be hard to see some things. Comes with a charging cable but no charging brick. I have plenty around but keep this in mind if you don’t have a bunch laying around in a drawer. Tablet is light and easy to carry around. Bezels are minimal. Wifi and bluetooth connections are stable without any dropouts that I have noticed. Speakers are decent on their own and loud enough. Battery life is average under heavy use like streaming video. Samsung’s One UI has never been my favorite skin of Android and it shows on this tablet. I find that there can be lags and a bit of stuttering when maneuvering around the settings and swiping screens in general but that goes away while in apps. Again this might not be as noticeable in the 8gb RAM version.Overall I very pleased with the purchase. At the time of purchase this was only $10 more than a Fire HD 10 2023 and I can honestly say it puts that to shame as I have used both. Build, screen, software and no ads all make this a no brainer if you can hold out for a sale.

. I’ve been wanting a tablet for awhile for personal use such as watch videos, play games, and scroll social media. I have always been solely an Apple user but the iPads were out of my price range. I knew nothing about Samsung or the android operating system so I did a lot of research before ordering this tablet. It was incredibly affordable which initially made me skeptical, but the reviews seemed promising so I took the plunge and ordered. Immediately, I noticed the drastic difference between Apple and Samsung. It was a bit of a learning curve for me, but I just played around with the settings and quickly got the hang of it. Dare I say…as a 15 year Apple and iPhone user, I am very impressed with this tablet and am even considering making the switch to an android phone as well! The ability to customize is just amazing. You can customize just about every single aspect on this tablet. Designing my home screen was so fun, there’s so much creative opportunity! I can get every app that I have on my iPhone, minus the basic Apple apps which is fine! If you do have a Samsung phone, connecting it will be super easy. I was able to easily find how to do it while I was playing around in the settings. This tablet is very pretty and sleek, with a thin, light-weight build that will make traveling with it easy. The battery life is really good; a full charge will last me an entire day! I do notice that I have to restart it at least once every other day or else the operating system will really slow down. That’s a little annoying but it’s fine. Keep in mind how I mentioned in the beginning that I only use it for basic use anyway. If you are someone that needs more something more advanced, then I would suggest paying the extra money for something higher-quality. This tablet would be perfect for anyone who only needs the basics when it comes to tablets, or even kids as well!

. I’ve played around with various tablets in the past, but am very impressed with the Samsung Galaxy A9+ Tablet! Really good performance at a budget-friendly price point. Processing speed is fast, with really smooth navigation and nice split screen functionality. Pre-loaded with some apps, but without a lot of the unnecessary bloatware you typically find on devices. Sound quality is good, and the tablet itself is sleek, thin, and lightweight, for easy daily use. Has an expandable micro SD card port that can handle up to a 1TB card, which is nifty, and there are lots of neat options built into the OS that make it feel very modern and enjoyable. For the price, this should satisfy most of your needs and give you a lasting tablet without breaking your budget. Only con is that the camera is just okay, but it’s not a deal-breaker as tablets aren’t primarily used for that these days anyway. All in all, a fantastic tablet that will give you a lot of bang for your buck. Would definitely recommend!

. I have been an avid user of Samsung phones for many years now, and familiarity is certainly a selling point with me. I love that I was able to connect the included cable and transfer everything (apps, contacts, photos, etc) directly from my phone to this unit in just a few minutes. Everything showed up just like my phone, and that made it so much more easy to use.I love the look and feel of the unit. The responsiveness and speed is certainly on-par with my phone, and the screen has a beautiful color and crispness. Switching in and out of apps is a breeze.Functionally, it works like my Samsung Galaxy. I’m not a big gaming person, so I can’t really tell you much about that. However, it is nice because I didn’t have to change much in the settings since it basically cloned everything from my phone.I like that I was able to install a 128GB MicroSD card for added space as well. Transferring my saved MP3 files allows me to listen to music whenever I want. I also like that I can use Bluetooth headphones or plug-ins with this unit. Even without headphones, the unit has a really nice sound with 4 internal speakers.I would HIGHLY recommend this unit, especially to anyone with a Samsung phone!

. This is my second Teclast tablet. They consistently supply a quality tablet. My older Teclast is still performing very well after 2 years of use. I bought a new unit due to larger screen, better battery life, more storage space, ability to add 1TB msdhc, and newer Android 14. The price is very good compared to not as good top end Samsung 12″. The sound system is very good. Moving my software from the older unit to the new tablet was seamless. I haven’t tried to add a SIM card and am not sure US carriers support the networks that Teclast supports. Android 14 has a lot of new features that my older Android 11 lacked. If you stream your TV, this makes a great additional TV. My only criticism of the Teclast brand, is the availability of quality slim cases. FIre tablets and ipads have a much wider selection of great cases availability. The case for the 12″ tablet is an improvement over the 10.2″ tablet case.

. The T60 tablet is actually very good relative to its pricing. With it, we got the most current Android OS – Version 14, which is miles ahead of the Version 6 I used to know from the Nexus 6 (by ASUS) I owned years ago in terms of usability and UI design. As well, the T60 has the needed hardware (ARM chipset) to run any mobile apps without hiccups. (I don’t buy T60 to play games. But I do presume it is a decent device to play light-weight games at the very least.) Btw, the specs says “16GB RAM (8GB RAM + 8GB extend)”. My T60 actually allows 12GB of virtual memory. The device comes with one-year warranty. I do expect mine would last at least two. With technologies advance so rapidly, it would be time to get a more advanced tablet after two years anyway. All in all, T60 is a super value for what it can offer to the user.

. You end up searching and searching. After finding deals galore with all the tech specs you’ve wanted for half price, I simply went with old reliable. This is our third Samsung tab A. This one is superior to the others. My 12 year old uses it for school, art, and gaming. She has yet to complain about speed, connection, freezing etc. It just works and I’d say if you’re not looking for top of the line with specialized features, I can’t imagine how this A9+ wouldn’t work for most people. 8 GBS ram is quite functional right now. Battery is good, screen is good, colors are good and storage space is good. Totally worth the sale price of $230.

. I have purchased a number of tablets over time always with an eye on price. I’ve always been disappointed in the speed and so frustrated by programs constantly crashing and having to clear cache and restart the tablet. Sound familiar? Finally realized I need more storage and a fast, reliable processor. I’m so afraid of running out of space I also wanted to easily be able to expand using a microSD. The more I looked at the specs the more convinced this would do what I needed. I ended up purchasing a second for my husband. The screen clarity and vivid colors are incredible. But most impressive to me is the speed and no program crashes. I think I’m in heaven. Well worth the price.

Muy feliz con mi compra. Llego en su caja perfectamente sellada. Contiene cable de carga. Al parecer los productos nuevos de Samsung ya no tienen el cubo. El producto lo uso para aplicaciones de estudio. Y me resulta excelente.

. I purchased this for my young son. He enjoys it very much! It’s affordable and high quality. It preforms very well in Roblox and other games. The battery life if pretty long after hours of video watching and games before it needs a charge.

. Last April, I bought my Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ as a replacement for my old Windows 10 laptop which I will be forced to retire next year. I was wondering how well this tablet could serve as a laptop replacement, but I needn’t have worried. It does everything my old laptop does, and it does it much faster and much more efficiently. Needless to say, I am very pleased with this device. The things I like best about my Galaxy Tab A9+ tablet:1. The 11-inch screen is large enough for me to see clearly with my aging eyes. Colors are vivid, and the text is crisp and clear. I can make the text bigger whenever I need to.2. The sound is great! The tablet featores four speakers (two on eack end) that pump clean, crisp audio into my room.3. Processor speed is very fast. Apps open in just a few seconds (or less), and there is almost no lag between my screen tap and program execution.4. My tablet came with 128gb of storage and 8gb of RAM. I have had no issues with storage space or with slowed-down multitasking. I’ve had as many as 20 apps open in the background at the same time, with no noticeable lag.5. My tablet came with Android 13 and UI 6.0 unstalled, but both programs automatically updated to Android 14 and UI 6.1 within a month. These latest versions of these programs are outstanding.6. I bought my tablet with two key essential accessories: a Bluetooth keyboard and a heavy-duty tablet case/stand combination. (I am typing this review on the Bluetooth keyboard right now.) These accessories integrate perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ and help immeasurably in, making it an outstanding laptop replacement.I’m sure I could think of many more features I like, but you get the idea. This is one fantastic tablet – the best I have ever owned! Most highly recommended.
